Does it cost anything to join?
No. There is no fee to apply or participate. Your compensation is a $5,000 monthly flat fee and your upside is commission-based, tied to the traffic and revenue your UTM-tracked links drive. You'll receive a 20% commission on approved conversions via organic posts and 10% for paid posts.
What am I committing to each month?
Four vertical feed videos on Instagram and TikTok on a topic of your choice, each referencing a NerdWallet page or product; a UTM tracking link for each post; a bio update reflecting the partnership; and month-end performance screenshots.
Do I have to submit my content for review?
Yes. Scripts go to NerdWallet for review before you film, typically within two business days. NerdWallet does not review the final video and assumes it matches what was approved — repeated, material discrepancies can be grounds for removal from the program.
What will NerdWallet weigh in on, and what won't it touch?
Review is limited to brand and compliance issues — things like misleading or unsubstantiated claims, guarantees of outcomes, unqualified "best" claims, competitor callouts, or legal and compliance concerns. Your voice, tone, format, hooks, and transitions are yours.
Are there specific disclosure requirements?
Yes. Every post should reference the program (for example, #NerdWalletCreator). Credit card content needs a specific disclosure line, investing content needs an advice disclaimer, and any post about buying or selling a home needs an NMLS number in the caption.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts run through Vidovo, based on commission tied to your UTM-tracked traffic and revenue plus a monthly flat fee. You'll get weekly performance tracking plus a monthly attributed revenue report.
What happens with my organic posts?
NerdWallet can request to collaborate on (re-share) up to two of your eligible organic posts a month — you'll need to accept the collaboration request within a few business hours. After your first three or four organic videos, NerdWallet may also put paid media behind your top performer.
How do I access my tracking links?
Once you're onboarded, you'll get a custom Google Sheet UTM link generator, unique to you, that builds tracking links from your inputs so every post is properly attributed.
